The goddess Nuwa / 2D gallery / Sishuang Wu

Nuwa is one of the earliest goddess in Chinese Mythology.It is said that she has a upper body of a woman and a snake tail on lower body.In myths and legends,She created man with earth and broke off the legs of a giant turtle and used them to support the four corners of the fallen sky.Besides,she invented the musical instrument called Sheng,which is holding by her in this picture.
